KARNAK
Rainforest Sanctuary

Hidden in the rainforest of Far North Queensland, Karnak is a place with a story. Created by Diane Cilento as a haven for creativity, performance, and connection to the land, it has long been a cultural landmark in the Daintree.

Today, Karnak is being carefully restored — step by step, with respect for its history and the environment that surrounds it. A new chapter is taking shape, grounded in the same spirit that made this place extraordinary.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to restore Karnak with care, respect, and a long‑term commitment to the land. Set deep in the Daintree Rainforest of Far North Queensland, Karnak has always been a place where nature, creativity, and community meet. As we bring the property back to life, our focus is on protecting the environment, rebuilding the spaces that matter, and creating a calm, welcoming place for people to connect.

We’re taking a steady, thoughtful approach — restoring the grounds, strengthening the foundations, and shaping a future that honours the spirit of this unique rainforest sanctuary. Karnak’s next chapter is about renewal, connection, and keeping this extraordinary place alive for generations to come.
